A Symbol of Me

The assignment: Design a symbol that best represents yourself 

When I think of the things that make me who I am, many things come to mind. It makes it even more complicating too that the way I see myself is probably not the same as the way others see me. 

But I think that beyond the way I look, the things I like and the things I have accomplished, what represents me is what I believe to be my purpose in life. 

The speech bubble illustrates how I seek to influence and encourage teenage girls whether it is through one-on-one counselling sessions or through giving workshops to large groups. The two girls and the exchange of hearts illustrates my goal to connect with each girl and to provide an environment that is a safe place for them to share what is on their heart.
