Cons:
- This is just creepy
- I'm not sure what the term "loose their softness" mentioned in the copywriting refers to. I assume the picture of the baby with needles stuck all over has something to do with it but I still don't see how that translates to real life.
- If I were a mom, I would feel repulsed and probably stay away from this detergent
- The colour scheme used is dreary and doesn't communicate anything positive to the message of the ad
Pros:
- The fact that the company's logo is the only coloured element in the design makes your eye drawn to it though it is comparatively small.
- The placement of the copywriting is good as it is in the baby's line of vision so your eyes are led there
Overall:
That this ad is included in websites of freaky pictures or about Friday the 13th says a lot. Yes, at least this ad sure generated attention! But when it comes to it's effectiveness translated to potential buyers, I don't think it works. It definitely is an unforgettable image though!
