Cons:
- This ad uses too many different fonts. At least 4 different ones. There is not enough contrast between the font sizes.
- The style of this ad is a little confused. The colours and the two vectors at the top have a retro feel to them. Conversely, the chair image used is a vintage one. Maybe I'm being a little picky, or maybe not...the difference between retro and vintage is well described here.
- I don't see what the shield-like vector has to do with this ad. It is an unusual enough shape to warrant a purpose to be included.
- The alignment of the words in this ad are a little off. Especially the words "give up their seats" seem to have a hard time deciding how to align. This gives an untidy look.
Pros:
- The copywriting in this ad tries to use positive peer pressure to get people to give up their seat. If most people say they will, won't you do the same? That is a clever message in my opinion!
Overall:
This ad has been one that I've stared at during many long train journeys and wondered what the designer was thinking. It has a pretty good message and idea behind it. I just wish more time had been put into refining it!
